An Offer in Compromise (“Offer” or “OIC”) is a contract with the government that settles a taxpayer’s (corporate or individual) liability for an amount less than what is owed by the taxpayer. Our speaker will discuss the requirementss for an OIC, the IRS’ processing of an OIC and when an OIC is best submitted by a taxpayer.
