Course Objectives

The objective of this course is for the student to understand and apply nexus rules for determining when state sales tax and state income tax applies to their clients. It includes explanation  of the tax effects Wayfair Supreme Court case, the Multistate Tax Commission guidelines of 2021 and nexus rules in general. We also provide a current chart as of publication date of state-by-state nexus requirements for sales tax.
